Retreats

Many people face challenges in everyday life today. Many of us experience loneliness, relationships issues, suffer from addictions, trauma, anxiety, or depression. The Life-Changing Programs aim to assist people, both within and beyond the Church, who may be impacted by many problems and wish to gain skills to face their life-situation, learn, gain healing and to move forward.

The Life-Changing programs have been developed by professionals highly qualified in the areas of social work, psychology, teaching and theology.

The curriculum lays a sound foundation for understanding the behavioural, emotional and spiritual aspects of recovery, which are clearly explained by a series of DVD presentations. Practical group work, supported by Christian values, is an important component of the course.

The program provides an opportunity for reflection, nurturing, and healing, so that participants can be strengthened and move forward in their lives. An environment of unconditional love, acceptance, and confidentiality brings all the ingredients necessary for a life-changing experience to truly occur.

5-6 April - United Prayers for Mercy for Australia, Peace in the World and for the Church. Prayers for Healing for the Sick and Those Suffering from Cancer.

18- 26 April - Novena to the Divine Mercy

19-20 April - Easter Sunday - Prayers of Gratitude. Prayers for the World and the Church.

27 April - Divine Mercy Sunday - Prayers for Merciful Love for all people, our nations, the world and the Church.

3-4 May - Our Lady Help of Christians. United Prayers through the Intercession of Our Lady, Pope St John Paul II, and the Apostles: St Philip, St James and St Matthias.

1 June - Ascension of the Lord. Prayers for all Christians and their Unity. Prayers for Persecuted Christians and All Suffering People.

5-6 July - United Prayers for Young People. Prayers for Healing from Anxiety and Depression. Leadership and Discipleship.

Australia Unites In Prayer Inc. is committed to the safety, well-being and dignity of all children, young people and vulnerable adults.

This commitment, founded upon the mission of Jesus Christ which is of love, justice and the dignity of each human person, provides an environment in which children can be heard, feel safe and be safe.

Australia Unites in Prayer Inc. undertakes mission programs in Parishes which are aimed mainly at adults. However, we may occasionally have incidental contact with children during prayer programs or events in Parishes.

Our employees, volunteers, management and key personnel is sensitive to the needs of the children and young people with whom we may come into contact during our activities in Parishes.

Our organisation has adopted a comprehensive child safety framework, which aims to prevent child abuse, empower children and young people, and respond to concerns, disclosures or allegations of child abuse or child-related misconduct.

All volunteers must have current working with children check clearance, and commit to the Safeguarding Children and Young People Code of Conduct to uphold the child safe standards of AUIP Inc. Key volunteers as well employees need to have also a current Police Record Check.
